standup
A daily meeting with a lot of rules.
A short meeting, often held in the morning, in which members of a team present their status updates from the past day. A daily standup meeting is one of the prescribed pieces of the "agile" software development process.
Example Usage:
We're going to need to move standup to 11 since Phil never makes it to the office by 10:30.
We need to timebox standup to 10 minutes or else we end up waiting in line at the cafeteria.
